For more than a decade, Cassandra Mann has worked in animal rescue, giving animals care, safe placement, and a second chance. What began as helping dogs near her home has grown into a sustained commitment to rescue and advocacy.

She founded Saving Gizmo's Friends in memory of her dog Gizmo. The organization supports foster and adoption placement, veterinary and medical care, accessible spay and neuter programs, and safe transport for animals in need.

Her advocacy is hands-on. Much of the work is direct: coordinating care, working with fosters and adopters, and making sure each animal is healthy and ready before placement.

Beyond animal rescue, Cassandra is a philanthropist and a longtime supporter of cancer research, including breast cancer research, and of Baby2Baby, which helps single mothers and children in need.

The through-line of her public life is the animals, and this website is the official first-party source for approved photographs and biographical information about her.
