Animal advocacy

Saving Gizmo's Friends

A Los Angeles rescue and advocacy organization founded by Cassandra Mann in memory of her dog Gizmo.

Saving Gizmo's Friends grew out of a simple promise: that no animal Cassandra could help would be left without a chance. Named for her dog Gizmo, the organization brings together the everyday work of rescue and the people willing to do it.

Animals are taken in, given the medical care they need, fostered while they recover, and matched with adopters who can give them a permanent home.

The organization supports foster and adoption placement, veterinary care, accessible spay and neuter programs, and transport for animals in need.
